Reporting directly to the Head of Assets & Safety your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Serve as the lead contact for ZEB both internally and externally.Liaise with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations, consistently representing Busways' best interests through clear communication regarding project progress and developments.Be a key member of the ZEB steering committee and manage the project and ongoing needs across cross-departmental teams.Lead ZEB solution planning initiatives, including charging solutions, depot designs, bus selection, and commercial proposals.Oversee the approved ZEB transition project, ensuring budget management through daily operations and adherence to predetermined cost limits.Develop and implement best practices, processes, and systems, including the integration of software for data management and reporting.Develop and enforce safety protocols for electric bus operations, ensuring compliance and a zero-incident rate.Manage day-to-day project actions, including risk and issue identification and resolution, ensuring effective team coordination and communication.Support training programs for staff on electric bus technologies and safety protocols.Aid in developing and monitoring KPIs related to electricity consumption and operational efficiency.Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure charging systems are ready and aligned with schedules.Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors to ensure compliance with service delivery standard.Perform ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed.About Us: At Busways, our core focus is on quality customer service, stakeholder engagement and employee development.  For over 80 years, we’ve delivered a professional, reliable standard of service.
