This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and a friendly team environment. You will be given the opportunity to grow, develop and to take on additional responsibility.Role ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Workshop Supervisor, this role requires you to have a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills. Your main duties/responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:Cleaning the yard and mowing lawns as requiredEmptying bins in the workshops and depot yard as requiredPicking up and delivering parts and other objects as directed by the Workshop Manager/SupervisorCarrying out maintenance and repairs to buildings as required, such as cleaning gutters and paintingMaintaining gardens and depot premises as requiredOther miscellaneous duties as directed by Workshops SupervisorPerforming ad-hoc as directed by the Workshop SupervisorEligibility CriteriaForklift licenceGood verbal and written communication skillsA strong focus towards safety standards and relevant company policies & proceduresProactive, with the ability to effectively organise your workload and work autonomouslyAble to demonstrate a reliable, punctual and responsible approach to workCurrent NSW drivers’ licence with the ability to upgrade to an MR licence class if requiredExperience within a similar position will be considered advantageous however, is not required for the position.As a Busways employee you will: Be provided with ongoing training and developmentHave overtime hours available and be paid at applicable penalty ratesWork in a close-knit and team orientated environment that celebrates together with quarterly BBQ’sBe provided with Flexibility- as we operate in various locations you will be allowed transfer opportunities to work in different locations.
