We currently operate bus service contracts for Transport for NSW in Western Sydney, North Shore and West, Central Coast and North Coast and the South Australian Public Transport Authority in Adelaide’s Outer South. With a team of more than 2,800 people, committed to transporting over 53.7 million passenger journeys each year, we pride ourselves on taking a proactive approach to public transport delivery to ensure that the customer journey is seamless as possible. About the Role You will be encouraged to learn, develop and grow your skills through the challenges of the role. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of internal recruitment processes and ensuring that vacancies are filled within a timely manner. Working closely with the Recruitment Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but is not limited the following: End-to-end recruitment processing across multiple positions for all sites Maintaining the accuracy of all recruitment-based data via the recruitment software (Martian Logic formally known as My Recruitment Plus) Processing and assessing applications based on the stipulated criteria Liaising with applicants based on the progression and status of their applications Following up and liaising with all hiring managers to ensure that they are well informed of the staffing requirements for their respective regions, depots and/or departments Drafting and editing of all advertisements that are published on both internal and external websites Assisting the team in any area as required and performing any associated tasks Desirable Criteria: Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office - Word, Excel & Outlook A strong work ethic and a results-oriented attitude Strong verbal communication skills that will allow you to build professional relationships across a diverse workforce Exceptional written communication skills Very strong attention to detail skills to ensure that all documentation being issued and created is accurate in its representation A demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise your workload and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen Great working environment Join a fun, friendly tight knit team in a supportive work environment where you receive continuous support and help, with ongoing career progression opportunities and enjoy the benefits of a flexible work/life balance with hybrid working arrangements. Our team is responsible for leading Busways’ operational functions by providing adequate staffing levels to our depots that are the core of our business.
