What We Offer:
- Earning Potential: $90,000 - $115,000+ including reasonable overtime loading and generous allowances (inc. superannuation)
- $37.19 - $40.92 per hour, depending on skills and experienceâ¯
- Tool Allowance: $20.61 payable weekly
- Attendance Allowance: $30.15 payable on rostered worked hours
- Annual Leave loading of 5% - 20% (dependent on consecutive shift type and pattern)
- Up to 5 weeks annual leave ((dependent on consecutive shift type and pattern)
- 15 days sick leave accrued annually
- Eligible for long service leave after 7 years
- Other applicable allowances payable as engaged listed in the relevant industrial instrument
- Ongoing Training and Development: Including in-house Heavy Vehicle Brake courses presented by a registered TAFE teacher
- Exposure to Advanced Technologies: Work on a range of vehicles, including Euro 5 & 6 technologies
- Licence Upgrade Opportunities: Upgrade from a car licence to MR licence, with costs covered by the company

Role Responsibilities:
This role requires a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills. Your main duties will include:
- Undertaking the preparation and cleaning of all surfaces prior to any paint application taking place. This may include filing, grinding and sanding the body of a vehicle to restore a smooth vehicle surface
- Removing, repairing and replacing the allocated panels that are damaged
- Ensuring the maintenance of all spray-painting equipment and tools provided by the Company
- Provide all body structural, accident damage and associated repairs, service and maintenance to vehicles as required. Work on associated components to complete whole tasks within the skill level of the position.
- Provide maintenance, preparation, replacement and repairs to all vehicle body components, panels, frames, and door systems.
- Manufacture, service and fit vehicle, components constructed from such materials as aluminium, timber, steel, stainless steel, glass, fiberglass, sealing and bonding materials.
- Demonstrating and maintaining clean workshop practices in your day-to-day role and ensuring that these practices meet the high standards held by the Workshops team
- Ensuring that all maintenance and repairs are performed according to company policies and procedures, and are recorded on the designated forms and documents provided
- Maintaining and performing all workshop practices in a manner that adheres to all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations
Our workshop staff play a critical role within the business to ensure our ever-evolving fleet of vehicles are continually maintained to the highest standard to keep our staff and passengers safe out on the road.
You can expect to be provided with all necessary training, this will include relevant information about our various makes and models of vehicles to ensure a thorough understanding of standards required to meet contract obligations.

The Successful Applicant Will:
- Possess relevant trade qualifications â MVTC (essential)
- Have adequate verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to demonstrate a satisfactory level of skills relative to a spray-painting role
- Have minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Ensure adherence and understanding to WHS regulations and relevant company policies
- Have experience working in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules
- Be proactive and motivated in finding better ways to continuously improve, while being adaptable in a dynamic and growing team
- Be physically fit to carry out the necessities of the role
- Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Hold a current Unrestricted Australian drivers licence issued by the relevant State
