You will be given in the opportunity to grow, develop and to take on more responsibility.You will be working in a fast paced and energetic environment that will encourage you to be a conceptual and creative thinker within the team.Role ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Driver Training Manager you will be responsible for the training and assessment of employees focusing on classroom training, driving skills and assessing potential employees. The main duties of the role include but are not limited to:Developing and maintaining constructive working relationships with management and staffAssessing and coaching new and existing employees in on-road driving skills, customer service, workplace safety and ticket machine usageFacilitating effective, interactive group training by creating a positive learning environmentConducting technical training in on road driving skills, vehicle and route familiarisation with positive outcomes for learnersCarrying out coaching sessions and refresher training in technical driving skillsMaintaining currency of knowledge on all policies, procedures and legal requirements as well as maintaining a best practice approachManaging your own daily schedule to ensure all training activities and assessments are completedResearching and utilising new learning and development content, methods and materials for trainingWorking both autonomously and within a team environment to achieve KPI’s and excellent training outcomesRequired qualifications & skillsCertificate IV in Workplace Training and AssessmentCompletion of the unit Addressing Adult, Language, Literacy and NumeracyCurrent Drivers Licence (MR class minimum)Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suiteStrong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skillsPossess the ability to learn and understand material quickly in order to facilitate training sessionsDemonstrate a keen eye for detail, meticulous with paperwork and the ability to maintain focus under pressurePossess a demonstrated ability in successfully engaging learner groups using interactive and interesting techniques Intermediate computer skillsWillingness to adapt in a changing environmentThe following would be considered an advantageCurrent RMS Driver Instructor accreditation for MR class or higherWillingness to travel between Busways existing depots within NSW and SAExcellent driving history and customer service recordGreat work environmentJoin a fun, friendly team in a supportive work environment where creative opportunities are plentiful and rewarding.
