Your main duties will include: Performing repairs on buses and other maintenance activities as required Overseeing major repair programs, including testing, fault finding, and quality assurance Conducting functional checks to ensure components are operational and vehicles are fit for service. Providing on-the-job instruction, training, and coaching to staff for maintenance work, inventory requirements, and record documentation Developing the skills of the workshop team to maximise results. Leading by example, representing the organisation in an honest, ethical, and professional manner according to the Busways Code of Conduct Maintaining all tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with Busways' standards Liaising with the Workshop Supervisor regarding buses off the road Assisting the Workshop Supervisor as needed, including managing leave requests and workshop staff. Ensuring staff have adequate training to perform necessary tasks. Raising purchase orders and processing invoices for payment Reporting and repairing all accident damage as required. Performing ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed About Us:  At Busways, our core focus is on quality customer service, stakeholder engagement and employee development.   For over 80 years, we’ve delivered a professional, reliable standard of service.
