Role Responsibilities: Reporting to the Regional Assets Support Manager, this role requires a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills. Your main duties will include: Performing repairs on buses and other maintenance activities as required Overseeing major repair programs, including testing, fault finding, and quality assurance Conducting functional checks to ensure components are operational and vehicles are fit for service. Providing on-the-job instruction, training, and coaching to staff for maintenance work, inventory requirements, and record documentation Developing the skills of the workshop team to maximise results. Leading by example, representing the organisation in an honest, ethical, and professional manner according to the Busways Code of Conduct Maintaining all tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with Busways' standards Liaising with the Regional Assets Support Manager regarding buses off the road Assisting the Regional Assets Support Manager as needed, including managing leave requests and workshop staff.
