Our cleaning staff play a critical role within the business to ensure our ever-evolving fleet of vehicles are continually maintained to the highest standard to keep our staff and passengers safe out on the road. You will be given the opportunity to grow, develop and take on additional responsibilities during your employment.Role responsibilitiesReporting to the Operations Manager, this role requires you to have a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills. Be employed in a permanent part time position with an immediate start. We anticipate the successful candidate will work a 25 - hour ordinary working week (Monday to Friday - 5 hours per day). We are looking for an individual who is efficient and thorough with a high attention to detail to ensure that Busways high standard of health and safety practices are continuously met.Your main duties will include:Clean interior & exterior of company cars as requiredClean interior of buses including seats, floors, ceilings, windows & dash areaClean workshop lunchroom & change rooms including toilet areaClean office area, carpets, desks, empty office bins including driver’s roomPerform any other work as directedEssential CriteriaTo be considered for this role, you will need to possess:At a minimum, a current MR licence or be willing to upgrade your C-class licence to an MR licence. We are able to upgrade your licence locally should your application be successful. Good communication skills, written and verbalGood time management skills with the drive and determination to complete tasksAbility to work within a team environment as well as autonomouslyWilling to take direction and have a keen eye for detailReliable, punctual, and well-presentedFull training will be provided for this role and may include an upgrade to a MR class licence (where applicable).
