Your main duties will include:Diagnosing, inspecting, reconditioning, repairing, assembling the fleet and ensuring safety, quality and Busways standards are followed at all times.Maintaining all company vehicles and assets in accordance with Manufacturer's guidelinesEnsuring all maintenance work is performed according to company proceduresAttend breakdowns and carry out any field related mechanical repairsEffectively and efficiently communicate any safety or maintenance issuesAdhering to all Work, Health & Safety requirements whilst performing work dutiesMaintaining clean workshop practices on a daily basis Eligibility CriteriaTo be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:A trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic - you should have completed either a Certificate III in light vehicle or heavy commercial vehicle technologyStrong experience in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, including engine overhauls, major repairs including electrical, hydraulic and diagnostic skillsMust hold a valid SA driver's licence as well as a HR/MR licence classificationStrong focus on safety in the workplaceCan-do attitude with a drive to exceed You will have the opportunity to:Maintain a fleet of 100+ including the latest Euro 5 &6 modelsParticipate in specific training that will assist in learning the on-the-job requirements and you will also have access to ongoing regional manager supportWork locally and support your communityFull-time position with immediate startCareer Advancement opportunitiesOur workshop staff play a critical role within the business to ensure our ever-evolving fleet of vehicles are continually maintained to the highest standard to keep our staff and passengers safe out on the road.What we are looking forOur employees are what make Busways work.
