What You’ll Be Doing:
- Opening the depot every morning.
- Allocating buses via tablet for dispatch (maintaining 30 minutes in advance of departure).
- Ensuring all buses are externally cleaned and washed as per depot KPI requirement.
- Ensuring weekly pre-departure checks are completed before buses depart (including buses in workshop).
- Coordinate with Workshops for additional requirements.
- Ensuring that requested Service buses are available for workshop.
- Organising the replacement of equipment as required.
- Covering any trips as required to ensure services are maintained.
- Completing on road change overs as required.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed.
- Full time role with the start time at 05:30AM Monday to Friday
What You’ll Bring:
- Sound ability to communicate and engage with employees at all levels.
- Heavy vehicle license MR or above
- Demonstrated knowledge including service delivery, rostering, incident management, work, health and safety, policies and procedures, inclusion and diversity.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, the ability to use initiative, and the capacity to successfully deliver high quality outcomes and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain successful relationships
- Strong attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills.
- Leadership capability, experience and demonstrated capacity to coach others.
- Creative thinker and proactive problem solver.
- Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have working rights in Australia.
- Current Australian drivers licence issued by the relevant State.
