Injury Management Coordinator - Part time. Up to 30 hrs a week

We’re looking for a people-focused professional who is passionate about supporting employees through recovery, achieving positive return to work outcomes and helping create a safe and healthy workplace.
This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference to our people in a hands-on, site-based role, while working closely with employees, managers, medical professionals and insurers across our South Australian operations. You’ll also have opportunities for training, development and to build your skills and experience across injury management, wellbeing and broader people initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Coordinate injury management and return to work programs to support safe and sustainable recovery outcomes.
- Partner with employees, managers, treating practitioners and insurers to develop and implement effective return to work plans.
- Provide early intervention and wellbeing support following workplace incidents, injuries and challenging customer interactions.
- Monitor workers compensation claims, maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Identify suitable duties and support employees to remain at work or return to work as soon as safely possible.
- Conduct preliminary workplace incident investigations and assist with identifying corrective actions and preventative measures.
- Deliver toolbox talks, wellbeing initiatives and injury prevention programs to promote a safe and healthy workplace.
- Analyse injury trends and prepare reports to support continuous improvement in safety, wellbeing and return to work outcomes.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in injury management, workers compensation, return to work coordination, rehabilitation or a related field.
- Return to Work Coordinator certification authorised by ReturnToWorkSA, or the ability to obtain this within the required timeframe.
- Understanding and working knowledge of the Return to Work Act 2014 (SA) and the Work Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA).
- Ability to manage confidential medical, claim and personal information with care and discretion.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers and external providers.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management.
- Ability to identify trends and translate them into practical prevention and wellbeing initiatives.
- Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have valid, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
