Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage detailed project plans.Prepare clear, persuasive tender responses that align with bid strategies, ensuring technical, commercial, and financial components are integrated.Collaborate with the pricing team to develop competitive pricing, analyse contract terms, and ensure compliance while protecting Busways' commercial interests.Act as the primary contact for bid communications and engage with internal and external stakeholders, including Transport for NSW.Identify and manage bid-related risks, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and contractual requirements.Lead post-submission clarifications, assist with negotiations, and conduct bid debriefs for continuous improvement.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management platforms (AI experience is a plus).Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.Coach team members and develop their performance, offering feedback and demonstrating the desired skills and expected work ethic within your team.Facilitate bid kick-off meetings, regular project meetings and updates, and review sessions.About Us: Busways is the largest Australian-owned bus operator and the most experienced Australian bus specialist, delivering high-performing transport services since 1942. Effective management of the process keeping all parties involved on track and accountable through strong communication to engage successfully with both internal and external stakeholders, in addition to:Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role.Proven success in leading teams, managing stakeholders, and driving bid submissions.Strong knowledge of Busways Operations and its working environment.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels.Proficient in MS Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.Exceptional attention to detail, organisational, and time-management skills.Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop others.Creative thinker and proactive problem solver.Strong initiative and confidentiality in dealing with complex matters.Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have unrestricted working rights in AustraliaHold a current Unrestricted Australian drivers licence issued by the relevant State Highly Regarded:Previous experience within the public transport sector working with high level government stakeholders AUD Pymble 2073
