What You’ll Be Doing:
- Processing invoices and completing payment runs in line with company policy and timelines
- Performing regular supplier statement reconciliations and proactively resolving discrepancies
- Responding to accounts payable enquiries accurately and promptly, maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times, while ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) when handling all AP-related enquiries.
- Collaborating with relevant teams to ensure proper invoice processing procedures are understood and followed
- Managing multiple tasks and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Identifying opportunities to improve AP processes and contribute to operational efficiency
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience in an accounts payable role, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Tertiary qualification in accounting or equivalent area
- Strong understanding of AP functions, including three-way matching, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and knowledge of relevant policies and procedures, including WHS, diversity, and inclusion.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have working rights in Australia
