Our industrial landscape is not for the faint hearted as you will be working with a wide range of stake holders within the business, along with Unions such as the TWU and RTBU.As a Workplace Relations Officer your responsibilities will be geared towards assisting the team in handling the day-to-day activities such as but not limited to;Performance managementDisciplinary processesGrievance mattersEmployment legislation interpretationFlexible work arrangements, Fair Work Commission submissions as well as working across any other employment related matters as they ariseFrom time to time there may be scope for project work however, this will be dependent on case management workload and operational requirements.The TeamThe Workplace Relations team currently consists of three employees: the Workplace Relations Manager and two Workplace Relations Officers. We find that team dynamics play an important part in working towards a common goal, but also in keeping each other motivated during the challenging times.We foster an open, enjoyable and collaborative working environment.
