This role is instrumental in supporting the growth and enhancement of our Safety initiatives both across our depots and the transport industry. This opportunity will triage and manage all WHS concerns for the Safety team all whilst collaborating closely with stakeholders across the business. Role ResponsibilitiesThis role will be responsible for fulfilling our obligations under WHS legislation and ensuring compliance across all sites by providing occupational health and safety advice, supporting managers in investigations and reporting on all safety related matters and hazards. Reporting to the Work Health & Safety Manager, the key responsibilities of the role will include but is not limited to:Reviewing and maintaining an up to date knowledge of WHS legislation and ensuring complianceReporting & writing:incident investigationscorrective action plans following site inspectionssafety policies and proceduresAssisting the WHS Manager in analysing data to identify WHS trends and develop corrective action plans to minimise injuriesReviewing identified hazards and establishing effective controls in consultation with managers and WHS committeesAssisting all sites in the preparation for ISO AuditsEscalating unresolved safety issues with senior management as required To be successful in this role, you must have:Demonstrated experience and skills in an WHS Support or Coordinator position and a sound knowledge of contemporary WHS legislation and/or practices.
