The role will be on a full time basis and work across both Region 7 Depots at Ryde and Willoughby. Primary duties involve the removal and fitment of window film to our modern fleet of buses.Experience in a similar role is desirable but not necessary as we are willing to train the right person for the position. On commencement, full training will be provided at our Blacktown depot.Role responsibilitiesReporting to the Workshop Supervisor, this role requires you to have a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills.Your main duties will include:Removal and fitment of Window Film Tint to vehiclesApplying Decals and undertaking other project activities as requiredAdditional duties to be performed as and when needed include:Performing minor repairs and service of vehicles and equipment, in a timely manner, within your skill level and experience under the supervision of a qualified tradespersonMoving buses within the yard, parking and refuelling themPick-up and delivery of parts and other objects as required by the Workshop Supervisor or Leading HandGeneral yard/workshop cleaning and maintenanceStore duties as and when required by the supervisorPerforming other general, non-trades services as directedThe successful applicant will need to possess the following:A strong focus on safety in the workplaceA positive ‘Can-Do’ attitude with a drive to excelA current unrestricted NSW drivers licence (MR class or higher preferred)The ability to perform tasks which require heavy liftingA willingness to work a variety of shiftsConfidence in using computers and software packagesOur workshop staff play a critical role within the business to ensure our ever-evolving fleet of vehicles are continually maintained to the highest standard to keep our staff and passengers safe out on the road.This role will provide ongoing training and support to employees based on their level of experience to enable you to meet our standards.
