You will lead the development and execution of campaigns and projects and govern the evolution of web and digital platforms, keeping abreast of industry best practice.  It’s an exciting time to be in public transport with innovative change in sustainable service delivery occurring across the sector.This role is best suited for a marketing professional with 5+ years’ experience designing and implementing campaigns, information and channels to engage and inform customers and stakeholders. The primary purpose of your role is to implement marketing and communications campaigns, activities and events that:Build our brand and reputation as a public transport providerMeaningfully inform customers and community to improve the customer experienceSupport Busways growth strategies through continuous improvement of marcoms tools and processesIn addition to the above, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Developing and implementing targeted communication strategies for service changes across all platforms including the preparation of communication plans and schedules, internal stakeholder engagement and development and rollout of materialsLeading customer information campaigns that are timely and effective and improve the customer experience and connection to informationManage customer information during unplanned incidents where bus services are impactedUnderstanding and analysing the customer experience to inform campaignsLeading complex project rollouts within tight timeframes to achieve project and corporate objectivesBeing a champion for digital information channels including websites, social media and appsStrategic content ideation, developing messaging, tools, and approachBuilding positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to successfully collaborate on and implement marketing communications plans and activitiesIdentifying solutions to improve information efficiencies and processesFacilitating meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholdersEssential CriteriaMinimum 5 years’ experience in designing and implementing marketing and communications campaignsA Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or similarHighly skilled in written and spoken English, including high level of grammatical accuracy and attention to detailThe ability to communicate to and work effectively with people of all levelsThe ability to make sound judgements, prioritise and solve problems in a dynamic work environment.Experience developing and managing digital platforms including websites and apps to support brand and customer informationAbility to own a project and work it through to completionWork to a given timeline and understand the importance of swift, correct delivery of content.Analytical skills and the ability to think creatively and laterally to effectively solve problemsPatience and high Emotional Intelligence (EQ) to work positively and constructively with different individuals and groupsExperience in planning and developing websites to deliver best user experience and content management systemsExperience in digital platforms and associated reporting; Social media, Google platforms, analytics, SEOIntermediate experience in using Microsoft suite products etc (Word, Excel, Outlook, Smartsheet, Sharepoint)NSW Driver's LicencePermanent Resident or Australian CitizenWhilst public transport or government industry related experience would be beneficial in this role, we will provide full industry-related training to an enthusiastic and driven individual who is prepared to learn and develop themselves in their career.For more information regarding Busways and this opportunity, visit our website at https://www.busways.com.au/about-us/careersGreat working environmentJoin a friendly marketing team in a supportive work environment where you receive continuous support and help.
