Over the past 79 years we have developed a passionate and engaging brand in the transport sector and are one of the most well-known bus passenger transport operators in our operating regions.With a team of more than 2,600 people, committed to transporting over 26 million passengers each year, we pride ourselves on taking a proactive approach to public transport delivery to ensure the customer’s journey is as seamless as possible.The RoleDeveloping and maintaining constructive working relationships with management and staffFacilitating effective, interactive group training by creating a positive learning environmentConducting technical training in on maintenance activities, diagnostics andCarrying out coaching sessions and refresher training in technical skillsProviding support and mentoring to apprentices on technical skills as neededEnsuring the maintenance workforce is competent to perform tasks to comply with statutory requirementsMaintaining currency on all policies, procedures and legal requirements as well as best practiceManaging your own daily schedule to ensure all training activity and assessment is completedProvide technical guidance for the development of training materials and contentWorking both autonomously and within a team environment to achieve KPI’s and excellent training outcomesConduct regular detailed needs assessments to identify skills deficits.Coordinate external training as the need arisesDeveloping training material to meet the needs of maintenance staff.The successful applicant will possess:Outstanding communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skillsA keen eye for detail, meticulous with paperwork and the ability to maintain focus under pressureAbility to quickly learn and understand material to facilitate training sessionsPossess a demonstrated ability in successfully engaging learner groups using interactive and interesting techniques Intermediate computer skillsExcellent driving history and customer service recordCurrent NSW Drivers licence (C class or higher)Demonstrable experience as a trainerThe following would be considering an advantage:Certificate IV in Workplace Training andCompletion of the unit Addressing Adult, Language, Literacy and NumeracyWhat we can offer you?We’re a family run company with a community feel.
