You love to write with the audience in mind, thrive on positively managing communications and are motivated by achieving results. You enjoy storytelling and crafting communications to engage different audiences.   This position will be pivotal in achieving company goals during an exciting time of brand revitalisation and growth, so the ability to identify and understand key industry themes and challenges, drive projects forward and work with multiple stakeholders is necessary.About the opportunity!Your top priority is to proactively manage Busways’ reputation through considered and well-crafted communications advice, strategies and initiatives.Key responsibilities include:Provide strategic communications advice to build our brand and reputation as a leading public transport provider Develop thoughtful, effective and measurable communications plans for corporate and key projectsSource, write, schedule and deliver engaging storytelling and content across a range of communications platformsManage media enquiries and drive proactive media coverage aligned with strategic objectives, working within government client requirementsDevelop and manage brand communications materialsCriteriaYou must have 4 years’ experience in a similar role and can demonstrate skills and experience in:TechnicalProactively managing media to evolve brand, including developing media releases, responding to media enquiries and working with others on content and approvalsProviding strategic communications advice to support business objectivesPlanning, researching and constructing a range of material including thought-leadership pieces, award submissions, promotions, publications, online media, digital campaigns, program materials and other related activitiesDriving social media strategy, managing the content calendar and developing engaging contentWorking within brand guidelines and driving brand consistency across all communicationsA high degree of accuracy and have high attention to detailPersonal attributesGreat communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to own a project, work it through to completion and work on multiple projectsCan work independently and collaboratively to find solutionsTrack record as a team player with a positive attitude and desire to learnTenacity, resilience, work ethic and initiative and take pride in your contributionExcellent organisation, multi-tasking, and time management skillsPositive and patient with high Emotional Intelligence (EQ) to work constructively with different individuals and groupsQualifications and requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in communications or similarNSW Driver's LicencePermanent Resident or Australian Citizen Great working environmentJoin a fun, friendly marketing team in a supportive work environment where you receive continuous support and help.
