About the OpportunityWe are currently looking for self-motivated individuals to join our growing Service Delivery team as a Bus Marshall within our Ryde and Willoughby depots. The role will be on a part time basis and will support the delivery of bus services at key transit stops within Sydney CBD, 3:00pm – 7:00pm Monday to Friday.This is an exciting opportunity to join our Service Delivery team within a growing company and a supportive, friendly team environment. The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role requires you to have a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. Your main duties will include:

  • transport ambassadors,
  • ensuring the safety of customers boarding via the rear doors,
  • assisting drivers to perform their role safely,
  • providing transport information (for all modes) to customers,
  • general management of the Transit Stop area.
  • Providing support during disruption events if required
  • Provide Customer Service and assistance within the transport network
  • Understanding the transport system and key routes in and out of the CBD
  • Monitoring traffic and services and reporting issues to OCC
  • Reporting of incidents live and post shift
  • Record timing and loading checks during an event

 

The successful applicant will possess

Ideally you can show your results from a previous customer service role, however if you have good admin and computer skills and are tenacious, grounded, passionate, emotionally mature and eager with a desire to do your best work every day, you will receive full training and mentoring and the opportunity to gain a customer service qualification.
