About the OpportunityWe are currently looking for 2x self-motivated individuals to join our growing Service Delivery team as Bus Marshalls within our Ryde and Willoughby depots. The role will be on a part-time basis and will support the delivery of bus services at key transit stops within Sydney CBD, 3:00pm and 7:00pm Monday to Friday.This is an exciting opportunity to join a Service Delivery team within a growing company and a supportive, friendly team environment. Your main duties will include:Acting as transport ambassadorsEnsuring the safety of customers boarding via the rear doorsAssisting drivers to perform their role safelyProviding transport information (for all modes) to customersGeneral management of the Transit Stop areaProviding support during disruption events if requiredProvide Customer Service and assistance within the transport networkUnderstanding the transport system and key routes in and out of the CBDMonitoring traffic and services and reporting issues to OCCReporting of incidents live and post shiftRecord timing and loading checks during an eventThe successful applicant will possessIdeally you can show your results from a previous customer service role, however if you have good admin and computer skills and are tenacious, grounded, passionate, emotionally mature and eager, with a desire to do your best work every day, you will receive full training and mentoring and the opportunity to gain a customer service qualification.You are passionate about public transport and customer serviceYou are familiar with the transport network or a quick learnerYou are a great communicator who is warm and confident when dealing with the publicYou’re polite, understanding, patient and able to calm troubled waters You are a positive "people person"  You are reliable, consistent, adaptable and take pride in your contribution You are a quick learner, who learns from mistakes and seeks to do better every day You can adapt quickly in a fast-paced and changing environment You are a Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen What we can offer you?We’re a family run company with a community feel.
