Over the past 80 years we have developed a passionate and engaging brand in the transport sector and are one of the most well-known bus passenger transport operators in our operating regions.With a team of more than 2,600 people, committed to transporting over 60 million passengers each year, we pride ourselves on taking a proactive approach to public transport delivery to ensure the customer’s journey is as seamless as possible.The OpportunityReporting to the Bid Manager, this role is based at our Support Office located in Pymble and will be on a fixed-term period of 6 months. We are looking for an individual who has demonstrated capabilities to provide a wide range of administrative services and support.This is a role that will require interaction across multiple departments and levels of our business and therefore requires someone with outstanding interpersonal skills along with a passion for organisation, accuracy and meeting deadlines.Role responsibilitiesKey responsibilities for this position include the following:Undertake administrative tasks and provide general support to the Bid Team during tendersProvide document processing assistance including editing, maintaining, and filingSource and coordinate inputs from various stakeholders in the businessAssist with the collection, compilation, and input of data as required in Excel spreadsheetsRespond to bid related enquiries and provide accurate and timely information to be able to direct staff to appropriate sourcesMaintain an open and adaptable approach to learning and undertaking additional responsibilities as they arise - these may sometimes be ad-hoc and 'on the fly'.Complete routine tasks to assist the team on a daily basisTo be successful in this role you will ideally have:A minimum of 3 years’ experience within an administration or similar support roleExperience in working within a tendering environment or a similar high-pressured environmentExcellent skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly WordExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExcellent organisational, time management and attention to detail skills The ability to proactively to solve problems and a flexibility to help out where requiredExperience managing SharePoint sites is preferable but not requiredHow to apply:If you believe this is the perfect role for you, please apply by submitting a resume and that specifically addresses your skills and experience in relation to the role, duties and required skillset. Busways is an Equal Opportunity Employer that is committed to achieving a diverse workforce.
